Hmm, I seem to make a lot of images relating to coffee, probably because I love it so. I have given it up on occasion, but that heady aroma! It's so enticing. I try to resist, but then I'm slowly drawn back into caffeine addiction and it's world of oily, dark brown beans once again.
Really, it's just another art form, no? The different types of beans, how soil and rain affect it, the temperature and pressure used to extract the black liquid from the grounds, the beauty of the latte design. There's so much pleasure in it, why would ,I or the other billion people who drink it, want to deprive ourselves? We don't. (-; Nor would this ambidextrous coffee drinker.

Debaters
I called this by it's true name, "Debaters" on Facebook and then because it seems like such a political hotbed over there, I changed the name to "Talkers." Help me! Nothing was meant by it. I could have called it "Conversationalists" or "Contemplaters" or "Cafe Yappers." ha!
Anyway, here it is, "Debater." Enjoy!

Dreams of Tea and Singing (No Longer Available)
One of my co-workers and friend, Connie, wants to open a tea and wellness center. She also happens to be a fantastic singer! Well, today at work, she belted out a few verses of the Stones', "Angie."
Cue the post-it note: I had to draw up my vision of her, working at her tea shop, singing a song whenever the mood would strike her. I also included another co-worker/friend, Lynn in the picture. Lynn has a wonderful, square jawline, likes to wear skirts and ride her bike. That's her, circling around singing Connie. (This is just how my mind works). I'm in there, too, for encouragement, along with a random tea-guzzling customer. I think she should call her place the Cosmic Cafe or Coffee, Tea or Me. ha!
If anyone wants to go into business with Connie and make her dreams come true--or hire her as the lead singer of a rock band--let me know, and I'll put 'ya together. Let the dreams begin! (-;

Day 276. Blueberry Cafe
Each morning he said, "I love blueberries."
She said, "Nobody loves blueberries that much."
He said, "You add sparkle to my day."
She said, "You're just seeing the glitter in the formica."
He said, "This place has the most eclectic style."
She said, "This place has a schizophrenic style, and if it weren't for the same blueberry ingredient in all the dishes, nothing here would be the same."
But she was wrong, because he was the same and she was the same.
He, ever yearning for this blueberry-tinged damsel; she, ever yearning for true-blue love from a rich romeo never stopping by this sticky joint.
