Um, I could have down something Halloween-like, or something gory, but why? This terror is every dieter's nightmare! (P.S., Don't diet--then this won't be scary. Life's too short, ya' know? Just have a few thin mints and skip that scale. Rake some extra leaves instead, my sweets!)
Girlscout (although the size of that tiny mitten suggests a "Brownie."): "It's our annual Girl Scout cookie sale, Mrs. Jones. Two for the price of one!"
Mrs. Jones (on the day of her weigh in): "Help me!"

Day 26 Fast-Moving Fingers of a Late-Night Diet Breaker
I was drawing this in a truck both in daylight and holding a small flashlight in my left hand (I was NOT the driver!) in the dark driving through Chicago. That's how dedicated I am...well, for now ha!)...in trying to get a drawing done a day. This one is in colored pencils, which I rarely use solely in a creation, but it was portable and wouldn't splatter while going over pot holes, so there you go.

Day 4 of 30 Eye to the Apple
Eye To The Apple
Philomena gave her apple a crunch
one bite down, a little snack to munch,
But something didn't seem quite right
with this red orb,
with this red orb,
a sourness was afoot,
a strange flavor, that to this discerning lady, did very much off-put.
What a complete disappointment!
Her diet now had a gustatory fly in the ointment.
Was it a sign to eat a sugary sweet...
was her willpower really that desperately weak?
"No, I will persevere!
My tongue may already be accosted
my hunger irretrievably frosted,
but with my sight this problem I must grapple."
She raised her glove-covered arm and put her eye to the apple.
