If you are unfamiliar with Noah, he created 365 skull images (really 366) in a year and then wrote a book about it ("Skulls"*) followed by three more: "365: A Daily Creativity Journal: Make Something Every Day and Change Your Life!"; "Unstuck: 52 Ways to Get (and Keep) Your Creativity Flowing at Home, at Work & in Your Studio"; and most recently, "The Design Activist's Handbook: How to Change the World (Or at Least Your Part of It) with Socially Conscious Design." He also appeared on Martha Stewart's Show with his skull project. Talk about someone who breaks the rules and forges ahead into new territory! Ha! Love it! He is also an activist--check out his publications and website to see all the incredible work he's doing. (http://www.amazon.com/Noah-Scalin)
Now, you know, sparkling days like these are often few and far between, and frequently you think you're getting nowhere and spinning your wheels and what you're doing is pointless. But in the words of Prince, "I'm here to tell ya', there's something else..."
And if you keep working hard,
and all the planets form in some crazily appropriate alignment
and you feel bubbles bursting from your heart,
life can be amazing! (-:
